Filipinos in Argentina, Bolivia, Paraguay and Uruguay are informed that registration for the May 13, 2019 National Elections and subsequent elections will start on December 1, 2016 until September 30, 2018.

Per Section 6 of Comelec Resolution 10167, "All citizens of the Philippines, who are at abroad or will be abroad during the thirty (30) day voting period, at least eighteen (18) years of age on the day of the elections and not otherwise disqualified by law, may register."

Applicants can secure their Overseas Form No. 1 (OVF 1) either at Post, through the websites of the COMELEC, DFA, OFOV, or any Post, or file online using the iRehistro facility (irehistro.comelec.gov.ph).

To register, applicants must personally appear at the Philippine Embassy, located at Zapiola 1701, Buenos Aires, Argentina for biometrics capturing and bring the following requirements: 1) Photocopy of valid passport or seaman’s book; if dual citizen, 2) Copy of oath of allegiance or proof of Philippine citizenship from the Bureau of Immigration.
