Authentication Services
Official documents issued in Argentina (including Argentine Government documents, corporate documents, business agreements, records, among others) will be usable or acceptable in the Philippines only if they have consular authentication by the Philippine Embassy in Buenos Aires. Each document that will be used in the Philippines must be individually legalized and then individually authenticated by the Embassy.
The Philippines is not a member of the Hague Apostille Convention. An official document will be authenticated by the Embassy only after it has been legalized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Argentina. All documents in Spanish or other foreign language should be submitted together with its corresponding English translation which is translated by a Public Translator.
PROCESS OF CONSULAR AUTHENTICATION AT THE PHILIPPINE EMBASSY:
After the document has been legalized by the authorized official of the Argentine Ministry of Foreign Affairs, it can now be submitted to the Philippine Embassy for consular authentication.
Reminder: Along with the originals, please prepare a photocopy of your documents in A4-size paper.
EMBASSY CONSULAR FEES:
Authentication: US$25, payable in cash and in US dollars only.
PROCESSING PERIOD
Processing period for consular authentication is TWO (2) working days (not counting the day of application and holidays) upon receipt of the complete documents.
EXPRESS PROCESSING FEE
If you pay an additional fee of US$10.00 per document, your document/s may be processed and released the next working day.
Autenticación de documentos
La Embajada realiza trámites de legalizaciones y autenticaciones de documentos. Generalmente estos documentos son solicitados por Entidades Filipinas ya sea para alguna transacción comercial, para presentar documentación ante alguna oficina del Gobierno, etc.
Los pasos a seguir son los siguientes:

- Si el documento se encuentra en español, debe ser traducido al inglés por un traductor público quien se encarga de legalizarlo en el Colegio de Traductores de Buenos Aires (este paso es necesario ya que ante las autoridades de Filipinas debe presentarse
- El siguiente paso es llevar el/los documento/s a legalizar a CANCILLERIA ARGENTINA: Esmeralda 1212. Teléfono para consultas: 4819-7000
- Luego de ese paso se deben presentar los documentos en esta Representación Diplomática, con los siguientes requisitos:
- Documento en español e inglés, traducido al inglés por traductor público, legalizado en Colegio de Traductores, y legalizado en Cancillería Argentina.
- Original y fotocopia de todo el documento a legalizar.
- US$ 25.- (veinticinco dólares por documento a legalizar, el pago debe realizarse en dólares estadounidenses).

Trámite urgente
La Embajada de Filipinas cuenta con un servicio de expedición urgente para aquellas personas o empresas que necesiten realizar un trámite expeditivo ya sea para visado, servicio notarial, certificación, legalización y/o autenticación.
Se puede solicitar dicho trámite abonando en este caso US$ 10.- (diez dólares estadounidenses) adicionales al arancel correspondiente del trámite que normalmente tarda 48 horas. De esta forma, el trámite se procesa en el día si no faltara ningún requisito para el mismo.
