Philippine Ambassador Speaks at Universidad del Salvador

Ambassador Ma. Amelita C. Aquino spoke on 12 August 2015 before a full packed auditorium of students and faculty members of the Universidad del Salvador (USAL) in Buenos Aires as part of the series of talks on “ASEAN Perspectives on Culture and Tourism”. The event was organized by the Faculty of History, Geography and Tourism and the communications media group Equilibrium Global.

In her presentation, Ambassador Aquino gave a brief profile on the Philippines and its economic situation, the historical influence on Philippine culture, highlights of Philippine-Argentina relations and Philippine tourism. The presentation ended with a showing of the Visit Philippines 2015 video and an open forum.END.
