10 November 2015 - The Filipino community in Argentina, in cooperation with the Philippine Embassy in Buenos Aires, participated in the annual Fiesta de las Colectividades, organized by the National Migration Agency (DNM) of the Ministry of Interior and Transportation of Argentina from November 07 to 08.

The different immigrant communities in Buenos Aires participated in the two-day event. Each country showcased their culture through gastronomy, handicrafts, and traditional song and dance performances. Members of the Filipino community performed Salakot and Tinikling dances and rendered the song “Ang Bayan Ko.” Filipino food such as adobo with rice, lumpiang shanghai and chicken barbeque were sold at the Philippine booth.
