Ambassador Grace T. Cruz-Fabella, together with Embassy personnel, welcomed Rep. Rufus Rodriguez and his spouse, Mme. Fenina T. Rodriguez at the Chancery. They had a good discussion on interparliamentary cooperation and engagement with the Filipino community in Argentina.

Rep. Rodriguez is a member of the House of Representatives of the second district of Cagayan De Oro. He is the Chairperson of the Constitutional Amendments committee and Vice Chairperson of the Inter-parliamentary Relations And Diplomacy and Trade and Industry committees.

Earlier this month, Rep. Rodriguez filed a resolution Organizing The Philippines-Argentina Parliamentarians' Friendship Group in commemoration of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of bilateral relations.
