All foreign volunteer organizations wishing to send volunteers to the Philippines should first register with the Philippine National Volunteer Service Coordinating Agency (PNVSCA).

 

 

Representatives of the foreign volunteer organization or the host institution in the Philippines should communicate directly with PNVSCA for registration. It will be the PNVSCA who will request clearance and authority to issue the 47(a)(2) special non-immigrant visa from the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) in Manila. Upon request of the PNVSCA, the DFA will authorize the Philippine Embassy to issue the appropriate visa to the foreign volunteer. It is only upon receipt of the said authorization from DFA that the Philippine Embassy can accept and process the visa application of the foreign volunteer.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Passport with a minimum validity of six months beyond applicant's intended date of departure from the Philippines;
  2. Duly accomplished Visa Application Formsigned by the applicant;
  3. One (1) 4X4 photograph of the applicant pasted in the designated box in the application form;
  4. Photocopy of applicant’s flight booking, itinerary or airline ticket; and,
  5. DNI original and photocopy
