Philippine Ambassador Presents Credentials to Bolivian President
Philippine non-resident Ambassador to the Plurinational State of Bolivia, Ma. Amelita C. Aquino, presented her credentials to President Juan Evo Morales Ayma on 1 June 2015 at the Palacio Quemado Presidential Palace in La Paz.
Ambassador Aquino conveyed the greetings of President Benigno S. Aquino III to President Morales and affirmed the ties of friendship and cooperation with Bolivia.
The day before, Ambassador Aquino presented a copy of her letter of credence to Bolivian Foreign Minister David Choquehuanca.
After the presentation of credentials, Ambassador Aquino met with Vice Minister of External Relations Juan Carlos Alurralde and Director General of Bilateral Relations Maria Del Carmen Almendras. She also made a courtesy call on La Paz Mayor Luis Revilla who had just assumed his second term as mayor of the city.END.
