15 August 2016— The Philippine Embassy in Buenos Aires participated in a tourism promotion forum at the Alvear Arts Hotel in Buenos Aires on August 09.
The event was sponsored by Emirates Airlines and drew representatives from at least 80 tour operators from all over Argentina and the five ASEAN Embassies in Buenos Aires.
Third Secretary Miguel Hornilla drew attention to a number of important tourist destinations in the Philippines, including Palawan, Cebu, Baguio, Bohol and Manila, noting the excellence of the destinations, their value for money. He highlighted the country as an adventure and leisure destination.
After the presentation, participants received collaterals bearing the Philippines’ tourism slogan, “It’s more fun in the Philippines”. END
