Balitaan at Kapehan sa Sentro Rizal in Buenos Aires

Chargé d´Affaires Lolita B. Capco gives her remarks before the film showing

The Philippine Embassy in Buenos Aires held a ¨Pulong-pulong at Balitaan¨ at the Embassy´s Sentro Rizal hall to update the Filipino community of developments in the Philippines as well as to get their feedback as to how Post could better provide them with services.

In her remarks, Chargé d´Affaires Lolita B. Capco, briefed the Filipino community on the Embassy´s mandates and deeper engagement with the Filipino community. Meanwhile, Vice Consul Miguel Hornilla updated the Filipino on the government´s holistic anti-drug programs to dispel common misconceptions against it.

To conclude the session, Post held a screening of the film ¨Ang Pagdadalaga ni Maximo Oliveros” by Director Auraeus Solito which was well received by the audience. The film showing was made possible through the assistance of the NCCA which sought permission from UFO Films for the one-time free screening.
