08 February 2017 BUENOS AIRES — The Philippine Embassy, headed by Vice Consul Miguel Carlo Hornilla, commemorated Autism Consciousness Week 2017 at the Chancery on February 03.

In his message, he informed the members of the Filipino community and Embassy friends in attendance that the Philippine government is serious about addressing the issue of individuals with autism.

He cited the different Acts and laws passed such as Anti-Bullying Act and the Magna Carta of Persons with Disabilities.

Embassy officers and staff recited the 1Pangako pledge.
